- Prepare a 16-64GB SD card, SD card software (PhoenixCard), and the firmware file (download from the provided link).
- Burn the SD card using the PhoenixCard software (follow the instructions and reference video to add the files, then click the button to finish burning).
- Insert the SD card into the CarPlay device to update the firmware.
- Restore the SD card using the software.

Changing the Boot Logo
After updating the firmware, you can change the boot logo. First, prepare a 1560*720 pixel JPG image (the image you want as your boot logo) and name it "boot_logo". The image size should not exceed 125KB. You will also need a TF card and a card reader.
Changing the boot logo steps:
- Insert the TF card into the device and format it on the device(DO NOT format it on your computer), then copy the jpg file to the TF card.
- Insert the TF card after starting the device.
- The update will be complete after the boot logo is recognized.
