If your CarPlay is restarting automatically, there are several potential solutions you can try to resolve the issue:
1.Check the Car Charger
Ensure that you are using the original car charger. Non-original chargers may not provide stable and compatible power output, and switching to an original charger could solve the issue.
2.Cigarette Lighter Adapter
If you are using an adapter on the cigarette lighter, it might cause insufficient power supply, leading to reboots. It is recommended to plug the car charger directly into the cigarette lighter socket to ensure a stable power supply.
3.Check the USB Port of the Car Charger
Verify if the USB port of the car charger is connected to other electronic devices. External devices can disperse the power supply, causing instability. Try removing other devices and use the CarPlay function alone.
4.Stability of the Cigarette Lighter Socket
Examine if there is any looseness in the cigarette lighter socket. If it is loose, consider replacing the socket or try adding conductive fabric to the contacts of the car charger to enhance the stability of the connection.
5.Try a Different Power Source
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, you can try using another 3A power source to test if it can stabilize the operation of CarPlay.
6.Restart Devices
Restart your iPhone: Press and hold the side button and volume button until the slider appears, then slide to turn off the iPhone. Press the side button to turn it back on.
If possible, restart your Carplay.
7.Update Software
Make sure your iPhone is updated to the latest iOS version.
Go to "Settings" > "General" > "Software Update" to check for available updates.
Check if there are any firmware updates available for your vehicle. You might need to contact your car manufacturer or dealer for update information.
8.Check Settings and Permissions
Ensure that CarPlay has the necessary permissions on your iPhone. Go to "Settings" > "General" > "CarPlay", select your car, and check the settings.
Try removing your vehicle and then reconnecting it. Go to "Settings" > "General" > "CarPlay", select your car, tap on "Forget This Car", and then reconnect.
9.Limit Background Apps
Sometimes certain background apps can cause system instability. Try limiting or closing some apps running in the background to see if it helps.
10.Reset Network Settings
On your iPhone, go to "Settings" > "General" > "Reset", and select "Reset Network Settings". This will clear all network settings including Wi-Fi passwords, Bluetooth connections, etc., but can sometimes resolve connectivity-related issues.
11.Remove the TF Card
If your device has a TF card inserted, try removing it to see if there is an improvement. Sometimes, a TF card may cause system scanning or access issues, affecting the normal operation of CarPlay.
12.Contact Support Services
If none of the above steps resolves the issue, you may need to contact the Carplay manufacturer or your vehicle manufacturer's customer service for assistance.
